Samar I ikhar (born on 24th October 1990 in Lahore) is a Lahore-based visual ar st whose prac ce is rooted in
expressionis c and intui ve explora ons of nature, emo on, and everyday experiences. Working across oil, acrylic,
and pastel, with pastel being her forte, Samar has developed a dis nc ve visual language recognized for its vibrant
sensi vity and lyrical use of color. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Tex le Design in 2010.
Samar has exhibited her work in several group and solo exhibi ons, including “Challenging Oevres” at Alhamra Art
Gallery, the Ar sts’ Associa on of Punjab Annual Show 2024, and “The Summer Show” at Art Soch Gallery. Her solo
exhibi ons include “Kaleidoscope” (2022) and “Chroma and Conversa on” (2025) at Ocean Art Gallery.
She was selected as a par cipant for the Plein Air North Karakoram Ar sts’ Residencies held in Hunza (2025) and
Shigar (2026), Gilgit Bal stan. Alongside pain ng, Samar is also an avid photographer whose work was selected by
Berger Paints for its 2017 calendar publica on. In addi on to her ar s c prac ce, she runs her home-baking venture
“Nutrilicious” and has training in working with special needs and slow learners.
